I watched Stephen Colbert lampoon social networking sites (like twitter) last night.  In it he even suggests his own ideas for new sites like “Knowny” a site that mini-blogs every action of every person on the planet every moment of the day and then projects it all out into space to simply say “WE EXIST!  WE EXIST!”.  Brilliant!
