Too long since my last post.  Poor neglected blog.

I find myself in a strange place.  A time of transition perhaps.  Lots of unknowns. And the fear…yeah that’s always there.  This always this comes back to how much do I trust God.

Been reading Brother Lawrence’s excellent book The Practice of the Presence of God.  And there is much to emulate in it.  I love how Brother Lawrence relies on the presence of God moment by moment.  With God he’s everything…without Him he’s nothing.  With God He can do anything.  Without Him Lawrence is undone.  Simple, yet perpetually profound.

It is from this kind of a place that I want to position my life.  To endeavor to truly do all that I do unto Christ.  Sure that’ll fail from time to time.  But it’s in the trying that matters.  It is the yielding of the heart.  The surrendering.

I know I talk a lot about that here.  When I get over the need to surrender to God perhaps I’ll move on to something new.  Ha!
