Winter wonderland
My family and I are leaving Saturday to spend two weeks in Colorado for Christmas time. Nearly all of my wife’s family is from there. And she really misses them. Two weeks is a little longer than I’m really wanting to spend. Two weeks with my own family would be a long time. And it’s [...]

Bright testimony
I was talking with a lady last night who is in real dire straights. I can’t share the details of her situation, but she is facing a problem of daunting proportions. And yet her faith in God is so high. She said that He has never let her down and won’t abandon her now. I [...]

Wild Goose
One day last week I awoke to the sound of geese flying over my house. They were wonderfully clear. When we used to live in Colorado we had this happen all the time. There was quite a few Canada Geese that lived near our house. But in Texas geese are pretty rare (at least in [...]

Peace
The theme of the second weekend in Advent is peace. And at LGBC we talked quite a lot about Peace. And there is more than I can recount in total. But suffice it to say that the peace of God is WAY bigger and more magnificent than that which is normally thought of. Peace is [...]
