Missional statement
I passed a woman who was wearing a t-shirt that read: My way and the highway The t-shirt was black with bold white letters superimposed onto a cross. And I thought, what a great missional statement!

Dark Knight and dark night
Tony Jones has an interesting insight on the Dark Knight movie. I like the way that he connected the dark night of the soul with the dark angst of the latest Batman movie. Cool!

Hurricane Dolly
It looks like hurricane Dolly is going to slam into south Texas. And the predictions are that she’s going to be powerful. Please pray for the safety of the people in her path (not just Texas). Many of those people are very poor and don’t have the resources to withstand such a calamity.
