Went to see the Newsboys Friday night.  They rocked!  Great stage show.  Got to meet the band.  Very cool.  I have been a Newsboys fan since I bought their CD Going Public back in 1994.  I went to see them in concert the first time in like 1998.  Now, almost 10 years later, Deb and […]

A stranger…

Last week, at work, we had a pizza party for some exceptional work that our section accomplished. The pizza delivery person was a young woman, attired like many who inhabit Deep Ellum. Aslan's doing

It has been an abnormally cold Easter and stretch of Spring time.  And it is a reminder of where we have all just recently come from spiritually.  Of how the winter of our life has been turned into Spring.  And I’ve said this before, this is depicted so very well in Lewis’s classic Lion, Witch, and the […]

Falling fence

I just noticed that part of my house’s fence is leaning pretty far (probably brought on by the recent humongous storms that have come through).  *sigh*  It seems like there are never ending things around this house to repair.  And, not being a mechanically inclined/handy guy…this kind of stuff is often very daunting to me.  […]
